Happy Thanksgiving – NOT!
I know that everyone is gearing up for the food feast that is known as Thanksgiving…and thanks to my friend Jenn Noble Post, I now know what to make for friends and family – yes, this “What The Friday” has your next holiday tradition::
The “Alien” Turkey!
I have to applaud the food artist who came up with this: they are right, you would NEVER have to worry about being asked to fix dinner for the family ever again!
Jenn sparked an interest in seeing just HOW creative Chefs around the world got when it came to making a Turkey, and here are a few, beginning with one of my favorites:
A Turkey Fried In Dunkin’ Donuts Batter!
Well, this is the perfect blend of science and nature: take a Turkey, batter it up and deep fry it, then cover it with donut sprinkles…almost a main course AND dessert in one!
If you don’t want your Turkey this sweet, how about one that is “flaming” hot?
A “Flaming Hot Cheetos-Dusted” Turkey!
Yes, this bird has been crusted with flaming hot Cheetos, which have been ground into dust first…that’s going to be a spicy dish!
OK, there will be some people who see this as no different than my “maple-glazed, bacon-wrapped” Turkey – because you are just putting something different on as the coating for the bird….yes, I have made a “maple-glazed, bacon-wrapped” Turkey and it turned out like this:
If you want to make this incredibly delicious Turkey yourself, here is the recipe:
So there are 4 different ways you can prepare your Thanksgiving Turkey…you are welcome.
If you want ideas on how to spice up the rest of your meal, I have a great dessert for you to try. The “Alien Turkey” is certainly hilarious and disturbing, but imagine finishing the meal with an “Alien Cake?”
Now that’s a great way to celebrate! It’s just one of a number of disgusting cakes I found, and you can see them all by clicking on my story here:

I think my brain must be wired wrong sometimes… Haha.. I love the alien turkey… The one coated in sprinkles not for me… Bacon or spicy cheetos… I would try those… I love me a touch of spice… 😉

Carol, so many people told me they couldn’t eat that turkey Cake! I think once it’s cut it breaks the “raw turkey” curse and just looks like cake! Thanks for commenting!

I saw this picture on Baked Delights, John, and was fascinated by it. My best of the above choices would be the hot spicy turkey.

You grabbed my interest with the ‘Doughnut Turkey’, John. Two of my favourite things, on the same plate!
Best wishes, Pete.

I’m not sure how the sweetness would go with the turkey, but I’ll try anything once! Thanks as always for commenting!
