Time To Wear Your Favorite Food!
It’s nearing the end of a BIG FOOD WEEKEND. As you all know, I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT JAPAN. I love their energetic embracing of all aspects of life – and I love that they love plastic food:

When we were in Tokyo in July, we stopped by one of the more famous “plastic food” stores, where you can shop for all sorts of great plastic food – and guess what? There’s now a new trend where girls are taking the food and turning it into fashion headwear – like this:

Behold The “Bacon Bow!”
You read it right:
BEHOLD THE BACON BOW!
It’s a plasticized piece of bacon turned into a hairpiece!
Yes, enterprising young women in Japan are taking this plastic food and turning it into fashionable head gear!

Bravo, RocketNews24.com!
Once again, the most unique stories of Asia come from this terrific website, a never-ending source of entertaining stories like this! Check the entire story out there:

You all know that I personally LOVE plastic food:

Welcome To Kappabashi Street!
Yes, “Kappabashi” is a district in Tokyo that sells all the plasticized food you need – whether a triple cheeseburger or a whole bunch of sushi!

If you click here, you can see more examples of the greatest plasticized food of all time, and who doesn’t want THAT?

My fascination carries over to my iPhone cover:

Yes, my iPhone cover is bacon and eggs – you can see more wacky iPhone food covers here – and my wacky, I mean it!
