Behold The “Fish Parfait!”

Here is another reason why I love the internet. What you see here is a “fish parfait”. Yes, an ice cream parfait topped with fish. According to my friends at the terrific website “RocketNews24”, this is:

“a lightly grilled sashimi bonito parfait, which combines the rich, succulent flavours of seared fish and garlic with the sweet taste of ice cream!”

Yes it is – a FISH-TOPPED ICE CREAM TREAT!

Behold The New Taste Sensation!

RocketNews24 reports that this unusual dessert is available from Restaurant Yuzuan in Nankoku, Japan. The restaurant specialises in “katsuo tataki”, or as we would say, “lightly grilled bonito”. The unique tuna parfait comes in three sizes: small (1 slice of bonito) for 490 yen (US$3.91), medium (2 slices) for 790 yen ($6.30) and large (3 slices) for 999 yen ($7.98).
