The “Orb” Lights Up The Paris Night!
Do you remember the 2024 Paris Summer Olympic Games, when this magical “Orb” appeared in the sky?
Well, imagine how excited I was to see this note!

What great news! And I learned they call it the “Cauldron.”
Last summer my wife Alex and I were in Paris for a few days and we saw it up close!

If you get to Paris over the next two sweltering months, go to the Tuileries where it will once again float all day and night, near the Louvre!

It’s cool to see in the daytime, when it sits moored closer to the ground, but the real magic happens when it flies into the night sky:

Stunning!
You can see the top of the Eiffel Tower in the bottom left of the shot…it is truly a magical moment in Paris!
Here it is again:

Such a cool thing to experience up close!
And of course, while I was in Paris I had to “drop in” to see the famous Sacre Coeur church as well!

I also shot some video – and guess what?
I got “photobombed!” Watch what happened:
I didn’t discover this until I was back in New York! Well, it was just one of the cool things that happened to me – here are the “secrets of Sacre Coeur!”
That was fun!
And here is a fascinating fact: Paris has canals! I never knew it but here is one!
Want to know where they are – and why Napoleon was involved in them?
See my story here!
And I visited the famous Père Lachaise cemetary as well…where famous Philosopher Marcel Proust is buried – here is his grave:
And of course, lead singer Jim Morrison of The Doors is buried there as well – here’s what his gravesite looks like as a small group jabbered away loudly about things that had nothing to do with him!
Here’s a tour of the entire cemetery, with more famous people there:
If you have any plans to visit Paris, here’s the best tip I can offer:

Eat At The Eiffel Tower!
That’s us with the iconic Eiffel Tower behind us – and you see that glassed in area on the lower right? It’s a restaurant!

Not only is the food delicious, but there’s a secret way to get to it that saves you a ton of time in line!
Of course, there are so many other places to eat in Paris as well…and who knows? Maybe you will try this “blue bun” burger like I did!

Need to see a bit more?
Sure you do:
Well, would you try it? Here’s my full review!

That’s very impressive indeed. A nice addition to the Parisian skyline. Shared on Twitter.
Best wishes, Pete.
