Have You Inflated Your Food Floats? Who Owns Blow-Up Food For Your Pool Party? Here Are The Latest!

“Who’s Hungry For A Pool Party?”

Check out this new trend: wacky “food floats” designed to make every pool party a delicious experience!

Who wants to float around on a float of French fries?

Like Sushi?

I’ve got you covered!

HANDOUT:The Futomaki Sushi pool float.(Swimline Corp.)

Bravo on the inclusion of chopsticks!

In fact, one of the great things about this pool float trend is that all kinds of food is included – some partly eaten!

How about a donut – well, almost a whole one…or maybe you are a fan of bagels and cream cheese instead:

Keep the breakfast theme alive with these bacon and egg floats…I’d have a bite to eat and then fondly remember it by seeing it float by me in the water!

And if you want some Avocado Toast, which is the hippest breakfast dish not he west coast, I’ve got you covered – with a pit that comes out as a beach ball!

I discovered this in The Washington Post, who had a great article about the newest craze…as savvy companies try to keep people entertained outdoors in the summer.

“Until two or three years ago, you could make just about anything, and the consumer would gobble it up, no pun intended,” says Kieran Glackin, vice president for sales of Swimline, a New Jersey-based company that makes pool accessories. “Now people are really looking for the unique float.”

And if you have enough friends over, why not share a pizza?

I love these – right in line with my decorating tips I shared with all of you a while back:

How about a hot dog couch?

And yes, there is a hamburger beanbag chair too!

We are still way behind Asia, which has been doing wacky things with food for a while – like wearing it:

A “bacon hair band” is just the beginning – see more here:
