Who’s Ready To Bite Into An “Eggwich?”
Me, of course! This breaking news is actually “cracking” from Japan of course!
What is it, you ask? Only another terrific idea: a burger with a delicious twist – the buns are made out of eggs!
What The Friday?!?!
That’s right: the “Eggwich” looks like a hamburger but has less carbs and more protein, thanks to these unique “egg buns”!
Check out the menu!
I would devour the entire menu – well, perhaps not at once, but I want to try them all and see what pops!
The terrific website “SoraNews24.com” has the story as usual, and Reporter Oona McGee describes the buns this way:
“A fluffy texture and moderately sweet taste”.
In addition to the standard Eggwich, which sells for 390 yen – $3.72 – there are two other burgers on the menu, and the double looks really good to me!
The world’s first Eggwich restaurant opened in Osaka on November 24 – and if anyone wants to send me one, I’ll gladly give you my address!
SoraNews24.com’s Intrepid Reporter Oona McGee does it again, and you can read her entire story by clicking on the website here:

You all know that I love unique burgers, and many of them come from Japan – they have some real wacky burgers, which I’ve eaten!
This is a Wagyu Beef burger form MOS restaurant, and you can see more of their menu, plus my taste test, by clicking on my story here:
Burger King also has a large presence in Japan, and they love to offer up unique burgers like this:
Yes, it’s their “Angriest” Whopper – with a red bun!

A bun made from eggs is a unique idea, John. I had no idea there were so many different variations for the not so humble hamburger.
