The Super Bowl Battle Is On!
For those who may not know, I was born and raised in Seattle Washington, so the Seahawks return to the Super Bowl on Sunday is a big deal for me – and will also be a “food fight” for the ages!
Seattle’s Salmon Chowder Takes On New England Clam Chowder!

Yep, that’s the estimated pounds of Hass avocados that are consumed on Super Sunday! That’s enough to cover the Super Bowl Stadium end zone to end zone in more than 27.5 feet in avocados!

I always enjoy seeing the superbowl food stadiums. I think they show the game on TV here somewhere, but it is in the middle of the night with the time difference, and I have never understood the rules anyway. 😊

Pete, it’s the single biggest TV day of the year in the US, and rivals Christmas and Thanksgiving as the biggest food days as well! I will do my part for sure!

Enjoyed this on your other blog but am smiling! This year the Super Bowl here in Australia will be very much ‘competing’ with three free TV stations almost full time covering the beginning of Winter Olympics – we may not have the weather in most of the country, but we do send a large team over and are hugely interested 🙂 !
