Ready To Fly In A “Sumo Tube?” It’s Summer’s Water Sensation!

Who’s Flying This Summer?

OK, I love the internet – and this is one more reason why! I found a guy dressed like a Sumo Wrestler – so he could go body surfing!

Yes, the “Sumo Tube” is the new surfboard, and it’s amazing!

Of course, when you show up you look a bit goofy:

Um….

As you can see, the key is to don it and then get in the water AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

But, even though you may look a bit goofy, it all pays off when your wave comes in!

I love this stuff, and found a couple of great videos to promote the “Sumo Tube” – here a one that shows the surfers in action:

I would love to try this, although with a much smaller wave, and this reminded me of a very special water park I highlighted recently:

Welcome To the Slip’n’Fly!

Yes, a water park that literally lets you fly, fly away! See the lip at the bottom of the slide? That’s to make sure you go up up up!

Check out more on this incredible water adventure here:

And I you want to spice up your home pool party, why not try these?

These bacon and egg pool floats are just the beginning of your water fun…see some of the best food floats here:

If you want to have a more relaxed adventure, how about this?

Yes, it’s a “lazy river” right in your underwater hotel – surrounded by sharks! Check it out here:

  1. I think I might be up for this as I have no sense of balance so skiing is out, but I can fly and might opt for a smaller wave.

  2. Haha! Looks uncomfy to me – like a face plant waiting to happen. (If it would happen to someone, it would be me.)

  4. Oh, this looks awesome John. You’ve made my day. I couldn’t stand up water skiing if my life depended on it, but I could do this. In fact, I think it was made for old guys like me. Ha ha! We’re heading to the Jersey Shore later this summer — hope I see someone with one of these. Ha ha!

  5. I can certainly see the appeal. Just a shame I can’t swim!

    Best wishes, Pete.
