Pickle-Stuffed Cookies! Secret Olive Sauce Cheeseburgers! Here’s What I’ve Been Eating – How About You?

What Have I Been Eating?

Well, thanks for asking. Quite a bit, actually – and while this burger you see above is a basic, 6 ingredient bite of goodness, from here it has gotten more complicated…first, here is how I made this cheeseburger:

Fast and simple…you can see more of it here:

From the sublime to the ridiculous, here is how I celebrated National Burger Day:

Oops! Someone spilled some secret olive sauce on my cheeseburger – or was it on purpose?

Here’s what I ordered at New York’s terrific Hamburger America:

While it was indeed delicious, the best part is how this secret sauce crossed state lines to get to New York – read the wild adventure here:

As for the “pickle cookie” I promised, that was part of my eating adventure as well:

Yes, the “pookie” is real and I ate one! See that taste test here:

Why did I do that? And why did “Foodbeast” create it?

Let’s get back to normal, shall we – and no better way than with a “Miso Ebi Fry!”

Shrimp burger anyone? That’s what a “Miso Ebi Fry” is in Japan, and of course the mad geniuses at SoraNews24.com tasted one…here’s what happened:

I love this website, filled with so many unique stories about life in Asia…and their iconic Reporter Mr. Sato:

Yes, this is Mr. Sato reacting to a picture of him that someone found in a book!

Yes, it was while he was consuming 1,006 slices of cheese on his burger! See that wild story here!

I have a website just about food, where these stories live – you can see it here:

And of course, this is my main site, where I post stories about food, travel, movies, music, pop culture and anything that intrigues me…sign up if you want:

Thanks for reading and if you like the story, please share on social media – thanks!

  1. I like dill pickles, and I like cookies. But the idea of them together? Not sure. Secret olive sauce would get my vote though.

    Best wishes, Pete.

    • Pete, I don’t eat sweets but the pickle cookie was something I just had to try and it was delicious! Secret olive sauce was as well – though pretty sure it’s Japanese kewpie mayo with sliced green olives and diced red bell pepper!

  2. That’s always a good litmus test for a food test. Am I still alive after tasting it?
