I’m not sure, John, if I’d buy seafood from a vending machine. I assume its refrigerated, but still …

I would have been way too chicken to eat them.

Even if refrigerated, which they are, it seems an unnecessary risk, right? Still, I love how creative they are with their vending machines – thanks for commenting!

Yes, it seems like a risk. Their creativity is impressive and exciting.

I’m amazed that any fresh food could be sold through a vending machine. If it works, more power to the developers of this idea.

Oh my stars—wild and weird and kinda scary at the same time. Would you trust the freshness of the class in a vending machine sitting in what looks like an alley? Pickled flying fish? Eew! Amazing and bizzare-o. I’d love exploring the machines as well…but pass on eating anything in them, probably. (Hmmm, maybe I’d try the mashed potatoes??? Ha!)

Wow these clams are so huge!!👀✨
I never seen a fresh clam vending machine(it’s because I used to live in “inland” area…well Japan is an island so sounds like all people got to be surrounded by ocean, but it’s a myth!!🤣) I tried a cup noodle vending machine, fresh egg vending machine…Do they sound interesting for you?😳
When I came to the US I was surprised to see electronics were sold in vending machine…I was like it’s a perfect example of the home country of apple and microsoft😂

HA! Indeed! I loved the vending machines of Tokyo, where I sampled “Coffee Jelly” – tasted great but you have to get your head around what is basically coffee jello! Thanks for commenting!

That clam machine is in such an unattractive back street location, it’s a wonder anyone buys clams from it.
Best wishes, Pete.

Indeed Pete, it’s an industrial area near a fishing village…not “up front” at all!
