“Clam” Candy Canes! “What The Friday!?!?! Has The Wackiest Food To Hang On Your Tree!

“What The Friday!?!?!” CLAM CANDY CANES?????????

Well, let’s get right to it…when I saw this photo, two things went through my mind:

And then:

Well, here’s just the tip of the “wacky candy cane flavor” iceberg:

Behold Your “Candy Canes” Choices!

Well, what an assortment indeed! I feel almost “retro” for having shared these “bacon candy canes” before:

Yes, they were a gift and I hung them proudly…but little did I know that I could have expanded this idea thusly:

Hamdy Canes!

You could call this hilariously named cane “bacon’s older brother” if you choose…and maybe they would taste fine, but honestly, nothing would taste as good as these:

“Mac ‘n’ Cheese” Candy Canes!

I mean, how can you argue with this? I would buy this in an instant – just as I would the following “flavored canes”:

Oreo candy canes? Sure! In fact, most of these sound interesting…well, except for:

“Clamdy Canes” are just a bridge too far! I guess they would be for someone who was “naughty, not nice” this year…or you can show your displeasure this way:

“Coal” Candy Canes? Bah Humbug!

This just seems wrong…but so do the “clam” canes…I found many of these at the website “Thrillist.com”.

Thrillist has a terrific article about the wackiest candy cane flavors, many from a company called Archie McPhee’s…as they report:

For the more health-conscious, Archie McPhee also offers a kale-flavored candy cane, or a clam one — a clamdy cane — if you’re a New Englander seeking a “candy clamity.”

So now you know…for more from the “Thrillist” list, click on their story here:

The “Clamdy Canes” seem as wrong as this Christmas “TINNER”:

You might think it’s a joke, but it’s not: it’s your entire Christmas meal in a single can…click here to see more, including a vegan version!

And if this makes you shake your head, it is after all “What The Friday!?!”

I’ll leave you with this:

Yes, that’s a funny holiday meme, and here are many more – just click on the link to see and be prepared to laugh:

  5. Now this really is wacky, John. I’ll stick to peppermint candy canes for my chocolate houses. That Christmas tinner is a great idea. I wish they had them here. They would make wacky gifts.

  6. Except for the Oreo flavour, those candy canes are just ‘wrong’. Especially Clam and Coal!
Good find for a WTF Friday, John. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  7. What a hoot – and the “tinner” actually seems like a good idea for folks who liked canned goods and I wonder how sales are
