It’s a “Bacon Macaroni ‘n’ Cheese” Labor Day Celebration!
Talk about the perfect combination! Bacon and macaroni and cheese – served in a cone and ready to take on the go.
It’s just one way to mash up your favorite food on Labor Day – a day to celebrate just how hard we work by spending the day mashing together stuff like this!
Bacon-Wrapped Macaroni-n-Cheese-Stuffed Meatloaf!
See what they did? A perfectly respectable meatloaf gets stuffed with mac’n’cheese and then wrapped in bacon – have a slice or two and find nirvana…and since I love burgers, I found room on my bacon cheeseburger for some macaroni and cheese as well:
I ate one of these, and it was as good as advertised!
And if you need a burger that doesn’t scrimp on the bacon, you can always try this one, made famous in Japan:
That’s a burger worth calling someone about!
My personal favorite burger is this one:
My French Fry And Tartar Sauce Burger!
I love burgers. And bacon.
AND TARTAR SAUCE TOO.
So why not take care of all of my vices in one perfect bite?
Yes, I’ve been making these for years and I love them!
It’s so easy to be so happy: cook up a burger (i add diced onion and garlic to mine) and just before you finish cooking it, lay a few cooked french fries on top, then top with tartar sauce…finally, lay down a piece of cheese….i use both sharp cheddar AND Mozzarella….once it melts you are ready to bite down hard!
Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it – and you will never knock it again!
Here’s another burger mashup that I love:
The Ramen Burger!
A delicious new way to use ramen noodles – they are cooked then formed into the bun, and it’s got a terrific, nutty flavor and texture that is worth trying…I bought this in LA, but they are also huge in Asia…see more of these wacky food items from around the world here:

I fell in love with this burger as soon as I saw the story about what WAVE Asian Bistro in Florida was mashing together:
WAVE makes this delicious-looking Sushi Burger, with a “sushi rice” bun – the ultimate mashup of my favorite food!
WAVE also has Sushi Doughnuts and Sushi Hot Dogs as well – and if you can’t imagine what a Sushi Hot Dog would look like, wonder no more:
I love when people send me wacky food pics, and many of you thought I didn’t see this: the legendary bacon mac’n’cheese cone!
This was posted originally by DisneyFoodBlog, and it was immediately sent to me by several people who know, accurately, how much I WOULD LOVE IT.
And they were right – but I think I love this even more: here’s a burger that proudly takes the final step in the whole “burger mashup” argument:
Yes, it’s a burger with a “burger bun!” All meat, all the time! You can click on my story to see the recipe here:

Thanks Colline! So many people send me stuff now because they know I like unique food, even if I’ll never eat them!

I’d go for the mac and cheese cone – and I’d like to try the ramen burger.

Mary, the Ramen Burger is delicious…you know what ramen noodles taste like, now imagine that flavor instead of some lifeless bread bun…it really helps make a burger pop!

Okay. Despite having a reasonably good meal just before 7, I now want to eat EVERYTHING in this post. So I will say, ‘Job done’, John. And well done, too.
Best wishes, Pete.

I love that bacon mac ‘n cheese cone, John, it looks yummy. The meat loaf also looks awesome. The Japanese bacon burger is a bit of overkill for me. I hope you had / are having a great day.

Robbie, thanks for commenting…hope that, if back home now, your trip was as relaxed as possible given the distance you are traveling!

Hi John, we are home. It is a 11 hour overnight flight but it was fine. I went to bed early the day we arrived and was fine on Sunday. We are flying to Hungry this coming Saturday for another weekend – world travelers.
