Amazing China Highway Runs Over LENGTH Of River! Wild China Adventures!

Look At This Bridge That Runs “Alongside And Over” The River!

Welcome to Xingshan County in China’s Hubei Province!

China does it again! When faced with the need to build a highway through rough terrain, they did was NOBODY does: instead of building a bridge OVER the water, they built it THE LENGTH OF IT!

China amazing river highway

The complete highway goes for just over 6 miles, and connects China’s Xingshan County with the Yiba Expressway. More than 2.5 miles of the highway goes over a mountain stream. According to RocketNews24, “this was done to protect the environment by avoiding cutting through the forest or mountain itself.”

  1. This is not a good idea. It is under the name of “protecting the environment” to destroy the nature. This Highway Over River idea is very dangerous. It is cheap to build. It rapidly spreads everywhere there is a river. The river highways will be access to the deep mountains, spreading pollute factories, increasing mining and high rise apartments. The highway will be the easy place for trucks to dump trash and toxic chemicals to the river. The river will be soon polluted. When traffic increases, this highway will be expanded to two, covering half of the river. The danger is that this magic idea can be used to Myammar, Laos, the Amazon countries – anywhere the last untouched natural should be protected. It is a Trick the worth nothing!
