Chef’s Table Honors!
I am very excited to share this incredible show with you – produced by my wife, Alex Duda – along with her incredible team!

“Chef’s Table” is the acclaimed Netflix series that takes you inside the kitchens of the world’s greatest Chefs…and for this first-ever event, 4 of those iconic Chefs are honoring fellow Chefs who are taking the culinary arts to the next level!

It was the culmination of a big food weekend in Las Vegas last month: Thomas Keller, Nancy Silverton and more great Chefs cooked their signature dishes, talked the future of food, and on the last day: 4 Chefs were honored!
Along with the awards presentation, there are beautiful features showcasing the Chefs and the impact they are making on the food world.
I have more on the honorees, as well as a variety of clips – and you can also see the entire show by clicking on my story here!
One of the honorees is Dr. Tim Ryan, the head of the iconic Culinary Institute Of America, located in Hyde Park, New York.

The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) is widely recognized as the world’s premier culinary college, often referred to as the “Harvard of culinary schools.”
Founded in 1946 o train World War II veterans, this private, independent institution sets the gold standard for hospitality and culinary arts education. Its historic, 170-acre flagship campus is located along the Hudson River in Hyde Park, New York.

Yes, that’s me hangin out with a giant salmon sculpture made entirely of cutlery!

This is a beautiful sculpture – and all from knives, forks and spoons!
It sits right in the middle of the campus – here’s a look:

The school boasts of a prestigious global alumni network: over 55,000 graduates so far — including legendary culinary figures like Anthony Bourdain, Grant Achatz, Mario Carbone, and Kwame Onwuachi—and features the largest staff of American Culinary Federation Certified Master Chefs.
Here’s a look at the courtyard surrounded by classrooms:
Hyde Park is a two hour train ride or 90 minute drive from New York City, and sits along the Hudson River – a terrific location – the school is complemented by branch campuses in California (Napa and St. Helena), Texas (San Antonio), and Singapore.

The late Chef / Author / TV Host Anthony Bourdain went to the CIA – here is a recipe I made to honor him after his death:
Chef Kwame Onwuachi also went to the CIA, and now has one of New York’s best restaurants – here’s my review of Tatiana:
And the iconic Chef Grant Achatz also attended the CIA – he’s known for inventive dishes like this:

Yes, that’s potato soup with a potato skewer – see more of his widely adventurous cooking here:
