I love Japan! I love the people, the culture, and the neon! It is a city alive with energy and innovation – and of course – I love the food!
And now Brooklyn is copying a new japanese classic! More on that in a moment, but look at this line in Brooklyn – waiting for a ramen burger!
First, let’s look at where this trend started!
You can buy the greatest food on food carts everywhere you turn in Tokyo – or you can sit down in one of Tokyo’s classic ramen restaurants for a bowl of steaming noodles…
So Let’s Go To The Ramen!
If you love the eastern flavors of traditional ramen – but also love a good burger, then it was just a matter of time until we got TO THIS!
Wha- wha- WHAT?!? Take a look at this: it’s the sight of two cultures clashing – ON A BUN! Yes, it’s time for breaking Japanese burger news, thanks to the great website “A Hamburger Today!”
Behold The Ramen Burger!
Fast food chain Lotteria in Japan is teaming up with famous ramen chain Menya Musashi to bring you the Menya Musashi Ramen Burger!
Menya Musashi Ramen Burger! – “East Meets West!”
Yes, the brilliant imagination of the food-obsessed japanese has led to a new unique food item. The “Menya Musashi Ramen Burger” is a seasoned, lightly charred ramen patty, topped with stewed barbecue pork (chashu), and mayo on a burger bun. Yum yum yum!
According to AHT: “This unique “east meets west” sandwich will be available for a limited time from May 20 to mid-June for ¥634 (about $6.40) and comes with a side of bonito-flavored soup.
The name Musashi refers to the legendary samurai but is also shorthand for the number 634, hence the price. You can also get an extra ramen patty with soup for ¥100.”
Now, if you want to see how this masterpiece is made – here is the video from Japan that showed you how it’s done!
As always, thanks to the innovative Japanese for taking our taste buds to a whole new level. And of course, thanks to AHT for keeping us updated.

This dish is japanese ramen with pork and some vegetables. The meat is very soft and goes well with the soup base and ramen. The ramen is very special because it is hand made and the soup base is cooked personally by the chef. The ramen also consist of an half boiled egg and this dish is spicy. This dish will be the most suitable for people who love to eat meat and can take the spicyness. The restaurant is very convenient too. It is located at the basement and the nearest mrt station will be Bishan. The waiting time will not be too long, and the service there is really good. They will also have set meals and those who love to eat ramen, you should give it a try! The environment there is very clean and the service crew are also very friendly and are very patient in taking your orders.
