
Time To “Smash” Into 2025!
Well, it’s the last day of 2024, and as I say goodbye to the year, I have to share some of my favorite bites of the year…oh, and the most controversial too!
Remember this?

Behold The “Guber Burger!”
I shared the history of this unique burger on my food blog and wow, what vitriol! Why a burger topped with peanut butter would result in so much negativity is beyond me…if you want the history of this terrific burger, and see how I made one, just click here:
I loved it, but so many did NOT! OK then, how about we celebrate one of the best burgers in New York City, thanks to “Hamburger America” and George Motz:

This terrific smash burger is cooked with a lot of fresh shaved onion…take a look:
George Motz is a Hamburger Expert and Aficionado, and I will eat at Hamburger America every chance I get…it was just one of my favorite meals of 2024 and you can see them all here – and many are healthy!
Of course, as we head into 2025 we always wish everyone “good luck and best sites for the new year”, but why not hedge your bet by eating some “good luck food” like this?

I also had a great end to 2022 when I made Stanley Tucci’s legendary “timpani” recipe!

Thanks to all who followed along this past year! In 2025, I plan to start a few new series, while continuing my “A – Z” of movies, music and more.
Now, let’s end the year with a look at some fireworks I captured from our hotel room in Lisbon Portugal to end 2023, because who doesn’t love fireworks?

Thank you for the note – here’s to a creatively fulfilling 2025 for us all! We were in Cleveland (Broadview Heights) for Christmas and missed the snow and the bitter cold!

As much as I love a burger, and intend to eat some in 2025, I remain adamant that peanut butter on a burger is an abomination! 😊

I keep moderation top of mind – and during the week I eat poached salmon and broccoli almost nights as it’s my wife’s healthy go to meal…so when I try one of these I balance it out at least – happy new year to you!
