Bite Into This Booze Burger! Tokyo’s Got Your Alcohol-Soaked Cheeseburger! Here Are Details – Plus My Favorite “Plastic Food!”

Who’s Hungry – And Thirsty?

Leave it to the wildly creative Chefs at MOS Burger in Tokyo to come up with something that is, for me, a mashup made in heaven!

Thanks to the intrepid Reporters at SoraNews24.com, who report on “all things Asia”, to have the latest invention from this creative Japanese restaurant:

“There are a lot of burger joints in Japan, but home-grown fast food chain Mos Burger is always one of our firm favourites. We love the fact that they source fresh ingredients from local farmers, and we’re continually impressed by their special range of “Tobikiri” (“extraordinary”) burgers, which contain oversized patties made with a blend of domestically sourced ground pork and beef.”

Announcing The Red Wine And Vinegar Tobikiri!

Wait – what? Yes, SoraNews24 has the announcement!

“This year, Mos Burger is going all out with a new series of Tobikiri burgers designed to provide luxurious comfort for the colder months, and the season has kicked off with their first instalment: the Red Wine and Vinegar Tobikiri.”

You read it right!

I have to say that I LOVE this idea: what a unique mix of flavors!

The new burger will be sold in two varieties — the regular Red Wine and Vinegar Tobikiri and – if you just have to have more – they will sell a Double Red Wine and Vinegar Tobikiri as well!

What’s A “Tobikiri?”

Ok, a step back to explain what a “Tobikiri” is – here is how SoraNews24 describes them:

“Tobikiri burgers are known for having jumbo patties fifty percent larger than regular ones, and this one looked totally decadent, with not just patties but pork loin bacon, cheese, lettuce, and a heap of thick, glistening sauce dwarfing the two soft buns around it.”

SoraNews24 tried the burger and said this about the smell:

“The distinct aroma of wine in the burger is really surprising, and the scent of vinegar isn’t far behind, melding with the red wine to create a slightly balsamic vinegar-like scent. “

So how did it taste? Well, the intrepid Reorters at SoraNews24.com have the answer, and you can get it by clicking on their story here:

https://soranews24.com/2020/11/26/mos-burgers-red-wine-and-vinegar-burger-delivers-decadent-luxury-to-charge-us-up-this-winter/

The new Red Wine and Vinegar Tobikiri burger will cost you 538 yen – which is $5.15 for the single-patty version and about two dollars more for the double patty version – which is what I would get!

MOS Burger has a history of terrific burger ideas:

Behold A “Wagyu Beef Burger!”

Yes, I tried one of the when my wife and I went to Tokyo a few years ago – and we also checked out the incredible Kapabashi district, where you can buy this as well:

Yes, it’s a plastic burger! Click here to see where I found it:
