Happy New Year! Here’s To A Blogtastic 2020!

Happy New Year!

Just a short note to wish everyone a Happy New Year and prosperous 2020…thanks so much for reading and commenting on my posts this year – I jump all around, from food to music, movie, travel and more.

I posted 380 stories in 2019, with this being the most viewed:

Well, how could I go wrong? Southern California’s unique “Super Bloom” was covered on TV, locals newspaper and all across social media…this photo I took was actually used by the Associated Press!

If you missed it, or just want to re-live nature at its most beautiful, you can click here:

I began a “Cult Movie Monday” look at my favorite films in 2019, and this one was the most viewed:

“My Kid Could Paint That” is the story of Marla Olmstead, who achieved fame for painting incredible art at an early age…and this documentary is a fascinating and sobering look at the truth around her story…you can read more about it here:

I also posted stories about traveling to Joshua Tree National Park with my wife Alex to see nature making faces at us:

So many faces in the rocks, you can see more here:

At a lot of food in 2019 – some delicious, some unique, and one because of the pop culture phenomenon that built up around it, resulting in waiting in my car at the Popeye’s Drive-Thru for 45 minutes to try one of these:

Was it worth the wait? Click here to see:

I also shared a weekly “What The Friday!?!?!?” Most of you were disgusted by this one:

Yes, you were all disgusted by the “Clam Chowder Popsicle”…how do I know? Because you told me!

Still, if you want to relive it again, you can by clicking here:

For those who are also my Facebook friends, you know my birthday is December 31, so remember as you toast to the New Year, you are tossing a little my way as well!

Thanks again for reading – I appreciate it!

Happy New Year, and here’s to an exciting 2020 with lots of adventures! Still, with an election year coming up, it’s important to remember what Bette Davis said:

“Fasten your seatbelts, it’s going to be a bumpy ride!”
