Behold The Mega-Wine Glass!
Costco has just made everyone’s holiday shopping easier! Who wouldn’t want this 46-inch-tall wine glass for just $79.99!
Newser had a great story, including a funny tweet:
“Finally found a good sized wine glass,” notes one Twitter user. “I can literally drink my height in wine,” says another, per People.
Indeed!

The box shows many decorative ways to use this glass, but social media wasn’t buying any of it – this is a great glass for wine – especially if you want to drink 25 bottles at a time – because that’s what it will hold!

Of course, fans of Comedian Amy Schumer have seen this before, on her “Comedy Central” sketch show!
Here is Amy Schumer’s “Football Town Nights” with the giant wine glass:

Well, I expect this will sell out – as a novelty gift as well as something people will want to have at the house as a conversation starter – or just use to serves an entire party at once – which is OK as well!

Don’t forget that wine is actually very good for you! Here are eight reasons that wine is a magical elixir with many health benefits:

Feel free to make this your holiday gift – to me!

What frustrates me is they offer NO clue as to if or when they will offer it again – it’s a matter of always having to check and see – and then act quickly as they sell out!

Thanks for a laugh this afternoon, John. Shame I don’t have space for one of these.

Agree that it might be a bit obtrusive, but what a party conversation starter!

I wouldnt mind one of those, they make an interesting conversation piece and sometimes regular glasses are just way too tiny now all thats left is a mega wine bottle to go with

It is kind of funny. I’ve seen some of the photos of it circulating on the internet. Might be a great gift for some upcoming holiday parties.

I feel like you’d need several friends to help you lift and drink that wine! I mean, 25 bottles of wino would be sooo heavy in a glass!

I don’t really have room for that glass, but would love to get one, if only to give my wife real cause for concern. I do have a ‘whole bottle’ wine glass, and I have drunk a whole bottle out of it. 🙂
I would imagine that tipping the Costco one to drink from it would potentially be a (wine) flood risk!
Best wishes, Pete.

Pete, it will be a popular gag gift, or a unique house decoration, since I’m not planning to throw a party big enough to justify filling this thing with 25 bottles of wine! Thanks as always for the comment!

I love this. It reminds me of a small shop that used to be in Manhattan called JUST BIG. They carried four foot long silverware, which I’ve always been sorry I didn’t buy the fork just so I could sling it over my shoulder and march into All-You-Can-Eat buffets and give the staff heart tremors.

Ha! Yes, a four foot fork would be hilarious to show up with! Thanks as always for the comment!
