Dive Into Your Childhood Memories – With A Highball In Hand!
Remember as a kid, when your parents would take you to the kind of restaurant that offered this “fun pit” for you to enjoy?
Well in Japan, the fun continues even after you are old enough to drink – because they turned this “pit of fun” into a “Ball Pool Bar Dive!”
According to RocketNews24:
“It’s Japan’s latest drinking venue, where customers kick off their shoes and sink their bodies into a cosy ball pit while ordering cocktails from the menu. Called Ball Pool Bar Dive, the Osaka establishment opened at the end of July and has already made news around the country for its unique ball pit!”
90-minutes of “all-you-can-drink” plans cost 2,000 yen for women and 3,000 yen for men – roughly $20 for women and $30 for guys, which is fair because we bring the best ball dives!
Thanks to “RocketNews24”, here is the bar information:
Ball Pool Bar Dive
Address: Osaka-fu, Osaka-shi, Chuo-ku, Higashishinsaibashi 2-5-31, Tsukitora 51 Building 6F
大阪府 大阪市中央区 東心斎橋 2-5-31 月虎51番館ビル 6F
You have to go to “RocketNews24” to see more great pictures – AND hilarious videos being posted in Japan – young “drinkers” sharing images of them playing and drinking in the balls!

I love the incredible stuff that “RocketNews24” shares, like this new “fried tempura snuggie:

And speaking of food-based products to wear, school kids in Japan can now use their “sushi backpacks” for schoolbooks!

I saw all of these stories on “RocketNews24.com”, which is a great website for unique content from Japan and Asia…including this new “mosaic sushi”:

Sounds like fun to watch John, but dive in . . . ?
Still thinking about that.

Agree that grabbing a spot in the corner is perhaps the best way to avoid spilling my drink!

The ball pit dive bars looks like fun! I’m sure they can get kind of gross after a while, but fun idea.

The backpacks and crafts are very creative. My kids were young when ball pits were all the rage. It was short lived fun in my family since at least one of the three developed pink eye or sported a funky rash within a few hours. We dubbed them germ pits. Maybe they developed a way to disinfect the balls?

HA! “Germ balls” indeed! I think for the adults, the “adult beverages” will take care of that! Thanks for commenting!

Thinking outside the box (so to speak). The only thing different here I can think of is Christmas crafts in December at a bar. Drinking and a glue gun hmmm…….

A goofy bit of fun to remind us of a simpler time – why do kids get to have all the fun? Thanks for commenting!

Lol, didn’t occur to me. I guess that’s true unless I ran into someone with excess ponzu sauce 😉

I am sure that I would spill my wine in that ball pit! I think I might just leave that to the youngsters, John.
Best wishes, Pete.

I didn’t mention in the story, but they give you a sipper cut with a straw so you don’t spill!
