Time To Celebrate Sushi!

I love sushi. All kinds of sushi, as you are about to see:

So much so I have it on my phone!

More on that in a moment. First, let’s talk sushi. The simplicity of raw fish expertly laid over warm sushi rice – a taste that can’t be beat! And of course, nobody does sushi like the Japanese, with an entire page full of great sushi options:

So what to have today? I might begin with some yellowtail, perhaps some fatty tuna and salmon, sweet shrimp – or all of the above:

And then, what for dessert? How about more sushi?

Yes, even these taste masters can get a bit, shall we say, CARRIED AWAY?

Or better yet, how about some sushi with fermented soy beans and mayonnaise?

Cola? Soy Beans? MAYONAISE???? Who could’ve imagined this? Sushi is one thing only: delicate raw fish draped over warm sushi rice, right? Well, someone has gone a bit sushi crazy, and I for one love it! And yes, there is even THIS:

Time For Banana Sushi – Creamed Corn Sushi Too!

Well, some Sushi masters have gone a bit bonkers, I think. RocketNews24, a website dedicated to covering all things Asia, discovered that the sushi train chain restaurant “Kura-zushi” in Japan will be serving up two incredibly unique, limited-edition delicacies. Thanks to a collaboration with Morinaga Milk Caramels, customers will now be able to order “caramel banana sushi!” And if that’s not enough, bite down on some “caramel corn mayonnaise sushi” too!
