A Burger Tower To Heaven!
What makes man dream about achieving the impossible? By impossible, I mean a stack of burger ridiculously high and impossible to get your mouth around…it is, indeed, a question for the ages…
Once again, the folks at “A Hamburger Today” have shared a great story of just such a quest!
Meet “Ericsurf6”, Tokyo’s burger master extraordinaire!
Here is the original story from “AHT”:
The Tower Burger (タワーバーガー) from Monster Cafe in Tokyo – consisting of six (or four; more information on that later) different burgers stacked on top of one another.
In this video, Eric orders a Tower Burger (¥2625, about $29) measuring 39 centimeters (15.35 inches) high and goes through the contents of each burger:
The order:
Bacon egg cheeseburger
Cheeseburger with two slices of cheese and mustard
Pineapple burger with tomato and teriyaki sauce
Cheeseburger with two slices of cheese, pickle, onion, and mustard
Spam burger
Chicken burger
Spam Burger!?!?!
Well, as I have shown you before, they do love spam burgers in Tokyo…here is a picture I took when I was in Tokyo, highlighting today’s special:
“Ericsurf6” In Action!
And, since this IS the internet, “Ericsurf6” posted his video, which you can see here!
Kudos to Ericsurf6 for the great video. And, as “AHT” notes: “you can just get burgers one at a time. According to Eric, who notes in the beginning of the video that he’s lived in Japan for a while and it can be hard to find a good burger, Monster Cafe’s burgers are good.”
So, the next time you get hungry in Tokyo, check these out and head for the stars!
