A Week Of Food – Saucy Sandwiches! Stretching Your “Egg Dollar” And A McDonald’s Mashup Too!

Hungry?”

Well, you will be after you see some of the for stories I’ve been sharing: everything from a McDonald’s food mashup to ways to stretch your “egg dollar” – and this wild Portugese sandwich I made after a friend shared a photo of one; the “Franceshina!

Stephen shares this photo and I was obsessed, so I tried to make one and I showed how I made it – and more importantly, how you finish it off like this:

Yes, it’s a very wet sandwich and you can see all of the unique ingredients and how I made it by clicking on my story here:

I shared this recipe on my food blog -BiteEatRepeat.com, where I share specific recipes and fun food stories almost everyday – and here are a few more you might like:

I told a story “torn from today’s headlines” – how to stretch your “egg dollar” when the prices have skyrocketed!

Eggs. Garlic. Spinach. Parmesan Cheese. On of these is not like the other, because those eggs cost a fortune today! By using other, less expensive ingredients, you can make a great meal while stretching your egg $$$. See the recipes here:

Now, some of you know I love to do food “mashups”…what does that mean?

Well, what would happen if you “mashed up” a McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish sandwich with a Big Mac?

Well, I did it and here’s what happened:

While I love to eat food, I try to remember that food can be funny too:

Check out some of the funniest food memes I’ve come across in the past few months:

Finally, I love the idea of this dish and actually made it so it’s no joke:

Yes, I made “Spaghetti-stuffed Hot Dogs!

It’s fun to do as well…here’s a sneak peek:

  7. ‘Wet’ sandwiches have never appealed to me. I don’t enjoy the saturated bread. They look good in the photos though.
