Michelle Yeoh’s Brilliant New Film “Everything Everywhere All At Once” Will Blow Your Mind! Here’s The Trailer And More!

Set A Place At Oscar’s Table For Michelle Yeoh!

She’s one of the most celebrated action stars, with roles in film like “Couching Tiger Hidden Dragon” and the James Bond film “Tomorrow Never Dies” – and acclaimed Actress in films like “Crazy Rich Asians” – but now, she’s in one of the most wildly entertaining films of all time!

The Wildly Original Brilliance Of “Everything Everywhere All At Once!”

Opening everywhere now, this brilliant new film blew me away – from the unique story to the inventive storytelling techniques, and the incredible cast – this film will blow your mind!

First, you DO NOT want to know too much! That said, I will give a brief overview: Michelle Yeoh stars as the owner of a dry cleaner…she and her husband have been summoned to the local IRS office, along with her father, played by the legendary Actor James Hong. Her husband is played by “Goonies” star Ke Huy Quan.

Oh, and look who the IRS Bureaucrat is?

Yes, the film has a hilariously intense supporting role by Jamie Lee Curtis! Her comedic skills are on full display in the movie, but there is much much more!

Stephanie Hsu plays their daughter – she’s best known for her terrific roles in “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Shang Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings.”

What happens next can only be described as mind-blowing, when Michelle discovers that she is just one of an infinite number of HERSELF across all time and space!

Here is the trailer, that only scratches the surface of this truly original film experience:

Director Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert have created an incredibly funny, touching, and action-packed sci-fi move that touches on so many genres while staying completely true to its own unique vision!

While you get Michelle Yeoh in full fighting mode, you also get a nuanced, rich portrayal of a woman who sees what she could have been in so many of the different lives she’s led – it’s truly an amazing film and spectacular, career-topping performance!

Here is the cast and creative team at the film’s premiere at the South-By-Southwest festival – I haven’t explained why one person is wearing those sausage fingers – you’ll have to see the movie to know why!

I am excited by cinema that connects us to other cultures, like this beautiful film about a young woman desperate to save her ramen noodle shop – click here for more about the terrific movie “Tampopo”:

There are also some incredible TV shows that capture the cultural diversity of our world – even if the storytelling is brutal at times:

The South Korean TV series “Squid Game” became a pop culture phenomenon – and for good reason!
