Corkscrew Observatories! “Golden Hand” Viewpoint! Glass Bridges! The World’s Wildest Walkways!

Welcome To The Top Of The Forest!

Imagine standing on top of this – a real “birdseye” view! What a unique structure, built in the forest outside of Copenhagen, Denmark – it’s an adventure camp like no other!

This new tourist destination is outside of Copenhagen – one of the most amazing things I’ve seen – whether you just want to relax among the trees like this:

Or if you want to take the corkscrew walk to the top of the forest – imagine going for this walk – ending up high above the forest!

This is a unique adventure camp! Bravo to Camp Adventure for their amazing adventure in and above the forest!

As their website describes it:

“The tower consists of a 600m internal ramp (that’s almost 2,000 feet high). It takes you from the forest floor, through the treetops culminating with a 360° view of the hilly landscape, characteristic for the region. The ramp keeps a fixed gradient, while the geometry and spacing of the ramp fluctuates according to the changing curvature. All 7750 timber boards originate from local forests.”

Really terrific!

It’s just one of the many things that makes Denmark a “must see” for adventure travelers:

Yes, the “Little Mermaid” resides in Copenhagen, as well as one of the most unique hippie colonies of all, Christiania –

Denmark is one of the friendliest places I’ve ever been – see more of that adventure here:

And what about this “hands on” bridge in Vietnam:

It not only serves a practical purpose, but does so in a spiritual way – check it out here:

Finally, I you are seeking a truly unique bridge, it’s hard to top this one – because it’s completely made out of glass!

Oh,, just one problem: it cracked!

  2. This bridge in Copenhagen is wonderful, John. Denmark is a place I definitely want to visit. The glass bridge is not something I would do, I think it would make me feel quite ill. We visited Sky Tower in Auckland and that had glass sections. I didn’t like it at all.

  4. One thing I love about your blog is all of the interesting places you either visit or educate us about. It’s not nearly as impressive, but they just built a skywalk in the redwoods at our local zoo.https://redwoodskywalk.com/plan-your-visit/
