Who’s Up For a Travel Challenge?
I am, and I want to see the edge of the world!
Yes, day three of my #Travelchallenge is heading to the Pacific Ocean!
These incredible shots of the sun off of Malibu’s pristine sandy beach – and the powerful waves that come ashore – are a great way to jump into day #3 of a social media challenge I was nominated to participate in – and which I am doing gladly!
Here is my shot for my #Travelchallenge day #3:
Details On This “Travel Challenge!”
Now, about the “travel challenge”: it’s all about visual images – so the challenge is to post a favorite travel picture for 10 days without explanation and nominate someone else to participate.
I love traveling, and I love taking pictures, so this was an easy one for me…
This incredible reflection reminds me that nature gives us incredible beauty every single day all around the world – we just need to take a moment to embrace it!
I really enjoy the ocean when it makes some noise and shows off a bit:
If this make you want to see more, how about this:
These rocks are from Malibu’s Paradise Cove, where you can walk along the beach and eat some fun food as well! Click here to see the menu – and the spot where The Beach Boys shot an iconic album cover as well:
I was nominated for this travel challenge by Carol, whose website link is below. Carol shares terrific stories about exotic food and unique recipes, as well as important stories about our environment!
Yesterday I headed to Sedona to share some of that incredible, magical beauty:

Yes, sir! Me too! I sold my RV and moved to a home base right before Christmas. It saddened me some, but felt it necessary for many reasons. It won’t keep me from heading out again though. But trying to be wise during these times.

Completely agree. The world will still be there post pandemic, and I am doing all I can to help the fight, not hurt it!

Super photos, John! The Pacific coast is so different from the Atlantic.

Yes indeed…much of it is very rugged and pristine…not really suitable for building as the cliffs drop right into the water in many places in central California!

These are great pictures, John. The one with Alex is really lovely. The rocks in the Malibu’s Paradise Cove look like crocodiles. I actually thought they were croc skeletons for a moment.

Thank you, John. I appreciate your support. I am thinking of writing another book now, about the Anglo Zulu Wars. They are so interesting.
