Happy Halloween! What Do You Think Of My Pumpkin?
Why do I love Halloween season so much? Well, because “anything goes” and so I am sharing the most disgusting, edible food that Halloween has to offer!
I am going to share hilarious – and disgusting – recipes to spice up your Halloween party!
A Chest-Bursting “Alien” Halloween Cake!
If you want to do “dinner and a movie”, why not watch “Alien” and feast on this chest-busting cake?
I love the creativity on display here, and found many others as well!
Yes, Macaroons too! I’d dig into a cake like this, wouldn’t you?
Or maybe you’d like to pass around some “finger food?”
“Severed Finger” Cookies!
Yep, there are a ton of recipes on line for these as well, all colorfully decorated too!
These cookies are perhaps even too creepy for me to eat – but there are other cookies even worse!
How about these “Band-Aid Cookies”?

Yes, those are edible cookies that look like bloody band-aids…who’s hungry?
And my artistic side came out the other night when I carved a “Trumpkin!”
As you can tell, this Pumpkin did NOT want to get carved up!
Some of these are disgusting for who they represent – but some are also incredible creative achievements, like these sculpted watermelon:

What artistry! I love the creativity that went into creating these incredible works of Halloween art!
One more, perhaps for the Doctor in your life:

Talk about seeing your patient in the flesh!
I found many of these at the terrific “Boredpanda.com” website, always filled with funny and fascinating stuff!
Here are more terrific and disturbing Halloween recipes from the twisted minds at Bored Panda:
My blogging friend Beth just shared this shocking news:
No Peeps!
That’s right, due to the pandemic, there are no special Halloween Peeps this year! She has more on this disastrous news, which you can read here:

Of course, if you REALLY want to disgust your Guests…
“Pumpkin Spice Spam!”
Yes, it may sound horrific, but I have two things to tell you: first – it’s real!
Second, I have one!
And I cooked with it! I made a “Pumpkin Spice Spam And Cheese Bread” – and I you click here you can see how it turned out!
Not only that, but you can dress like food for Halloween as well!
“Show me?” Sure!
Yes, I have a bunch of great “food-themed” Halloween costumes for kids of all ages! Click here to see a “Taco Baby” and “Egg Dog!”

These are absolutely fantastic, John. I am sure the creators of these cakes slaved over them. Honestly, the pukey pumpkin is the most off putting for me.

Tiffany, great to hear from you! Yes, they are more fun to look at than try I think – although I DID make and eat the “Pumpkin Spice Spam And Cheese” Bread!
