“At Home” Conveyor Belt Sushi! Video Shows How A Train Set Can Turn Your House Into A Sushi Bar!

Have You Tried Conveyor Belt Sushi?

These incredible conveyor belt sushi bars are popular in Tokyo, and are expanding all over the world as well:

I’ve had it many times in Tokyo, and one of the restaurants had a “Double Decker” conveyor belt! It’s so much fun to grab a plate as it slowly rolls by – the price you pay is based on the color of the plate!

Now, Your Own “At Home” Conveyor Belt Sushi!

I love this! An enterprising guy decided to make his own conveyor belt sushi bar at home!

As I am about to show you, it’s not hard to do at all!

In this time of #shlteringathome, this fun “in your home” restaurant can easily be done – by ordering sushi to your house, along with a train set!

It’s surprisingly easy to do!

As always, the great website Soreness24.com had the story. As they reported:

“Twitter user @Itami9018F shared a video of his ingenious plan to devise his very own conveyor belt sushi (kaiten-zushi) shop from the comforts of home using some electric toy trains. Fashioning a circular track around two trays of takeout sushi, he fixed plates to the freight cars and loaded the sushi on top.”

It’s all about attaching small plates to a toy train kit!

I love this idea – and have to figure out a way to do it! Here’s also a great video I found.

Akiba-Toys.com unboxes the first and only product that lets you and the family enjoy conveyor belt sushi (回転寿司 or “kaiten sushi”) at home!

Check out their “easy to follow” instructions using their trains!

As always, SoraNews24.com had the story – every day their website is filled with tons of great stories – check this one out here:

If you don’t know how much I love sushi, this was my iPhone cover:

Yes, I bought an iPhone cover that was topped with two pieces of yellowtail sushi! I bought it from a cool store in Tokyo that sells all sorts of plasticized food – like these pieces of sushi:

I have one attached to my keychain, and others are arranged on a shelf – a reminder of what I love to eat so much!

I love sushi so much that I also have enjoyed “Breakfast Sushi”:

I ate this incredible meal at 8a in Tokyo – you can see our meal here:

  5. Hubby took me to a conveyor belt sushi bar in Sa Francisco. It was wonderful and he doesn’t even like sushi. He watched me eat my face off. A special memory. The at-home idea is so cute!
