Time to listen to the voices of those who experience life in America differently than others – and the danger that comes with that
The following clip is from a speech given by Martin Luther King Jr. gave 53 years ago. It’s tragically relevant today.

Sorry for the misspelling of Breonna’s name. Darn autocorrect.

Thanks again John. Trump’s despicable tweet from last night is another example of his racism stoking the flames. Racism has been part of our country since the beginning, but he’s making it worse. As far as the overall inequality here, we cannot let things go back to “normal” once the media’s attention focuses elsewhere. People of color should not have to live with the underlying fear that whenever they or their loved ones go out, their lives are in danger. Or, in the case of Brianna Taylor, be killed while sleeping.

Pete, you are seeing what we are going through from from far away, much closer up for all of us. And it’s another example of our “leader” fueling hatred and fear for his own despicable political gain.
