Say “Happy Halloween” This Year – With Bacon!
Yes, it’s time to start thinking about what you will wear to this year’s important Halloween party – so why not wear your favorite food? And it’s not just bacon!
Time To Party With Pickle Head!
You see, he’s a Cheeseburger – topped with an extra pickle!
Yes, it’s Halloween time, and it’s also “What The Friday!?!?!” That means if you need to dress up as FOOD this party season, I’ve got you covered with some truly WTF ideas! Here’s a look at the many different ways you can celebrate Halloween with food costumes!
It’s A Taco Baby!
And it’s not just for adults – look at the fun you can have with your little kids as well!
Let’s get started with some of the bacon-themed costumes that you can buy for this Halloween season!
Bacon And Eggs!
Talk about a pair of outfits that look good enough to eat! And don’t worry – if you’ve got kids you can add them to the breakfast menu!
Oh, and what if you have an EXTENDED family? Well, the smart creators of this costume have taken care of that, too!
And if you want to cut out the cholesterol, just go with bacon!
I can’t imagine going as a single strip of bacon when you can use it as one part of a well balanced costume…
A Pair Of Big Macs!
OK, this is easy: you and your wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, partner, whatever – go as a pair of Big Macs! Talk about “partners in crime!” Or you can go solo as well!
Now, check out these three below: one costume is just a picture of a burger printed on polyester tunic. One is more form fitting, kind of a bulky cheeseburger top. Finally, check out Gene from “Bob’s Burgers” – a burger costume with a bonus megaphone cut-out.
I was very pleasantly surprised to see just how many Cheeseburger costumes are available to buy…like this:
Adult Unisex Deluxe Cheeseburger Costume
This costume has it all, but it’s also $140. Here is how it is described:
“The Adult Unisex Deluxe Cheeseburger Costume is a deluxe cheeseburger indeed. The plush one-piece costume is a knee length tunic with all the details of a deluxe cheeseburger.
If you love burgers this makes a great, humorous outfit, and you can go with something more subtle – like a cheese steak!
Cheese Steak Head!
Forget cheeseburgers, go cheeseheads! I mean, who doesn’t love a good cheese steak on their head? Get all the laughs and grab all the attention in this hilarious cheese steak hat!
It’s nice to have all of this headgear, but what will your walk around in? Easy!
A Nike Hamburger Sneaker!
The Nike Hamburger shoe was part of an expose in Vice Magazine, where 8 creatives were asked to interpret Nike sportswear icons. The Nike Hamburger shoe, created by Olle Hemmendorff, fashion guru and freelance art creative, is meant to illustrate Nike’s Air Max 90.
While he could have chosen any material to re-design the Nike sneaker, Hemmendorff chose to use the hamburger to create his extreme edible fashion item. Because, obviously, the hamburger is the “most powerful, most durable, and most delicious material know to man” (at least according to the innovative fashion designer).
Yes, it’s a hamburger shoe…walk on it proudly!
And finally, no reason to leave your family pet out of the fun, as you can see from this news story:
The Cheeseburger Cat!
(silence)
Well, there really is nothing to add now, is there?

I just love the look on babies and pets dressed up in a costume. Their expression says, “Why me?”

That taco baby is adorable.
I dress up each year for Halloween. Important, I think, when you work with young children. It is such a fun day for them.

Not only do we not “party” at Halloween, we’ve decided to be quite reclusive, this year…turn out the indoor and porch lamps, sit in the darkness, eating all of the candy ourselves. 😀
Have a Happy Halloween!

Fun post, John. And soooooo what will you and Alex be this year? I can’t imagine you NOT dressing up. Bacon or a cheeseburger, methinks.

How about a couple one: Daenerys and her Starbucks cup from the good in GoT? 🙃

Cindy, last year Alex was “Fake News” and I was, indeed, a bacon cheeseburger…with her show filming that day, we may have to forego the costumes! Thanks as always for commenting! Oh, and I will be posting about your new novel the first week of November! Kudos to you!

I don’t celebrate Halloween, but now I want a bacon-suit, like the two-piece in the top photo! 🙂

These are funny costumes. My daughter wanted to have a taco dress at her most recent birthday party…she LOVED it. So did the other kids.

I love the idea of food-themed costumes…my friend knitted me a cheeseburger cap!

First of all, thanks for commenting! As for the cap, it’s more for show…but cool!

These are quite incredible, John. We are having a heatwave though, so they look mighty hot to me.

It’s 91 today in Beverly Hills, so I think this time a burger will be for eating only!

91! If only! It is just 50 in Beetley, with a cold easterly wind and light rain. Brrr!

I thought it would be cooler where you are by now. We are having a terrible heat wave and no rain.

We are having a heat wave here and high winds, so there are fires here now…

I know, I have been reading about them. I hope yours stays on because no power is such a nuisance.
