Happy Halloween! What Do You Think Of My Pumpkin?
Why do I love Halloween season so much? Well, because “anything goes” and so I am sharing the most disgusting, edible food that Halloween has to offer!
I am going to share hilarious – and disgusting – recipes to spice up your Halloween party!
A Chest-Bursting “Alien” Halloween Cake!
If you want to do “dinner and a movie”, why not watch “Alien” and feast on this chest-busting cake?
I love the creativity on display here, and found many others as well!
Yes, Macaroons too! I’d dig into a cake like this, wouldn’t you?
Or maybe you’d like to pass around some “finger food?”
“Severed Finger” Cookies!
Yep, there are a ton of recipes on line for these as well, all colorfully decorated too!
These cookies are perhaps even too creepy for me to eat – but there are other cookies even worse!
How about these “Band-Aid Cookies”?

Yes, those are edible cookies that look like bloody band-aids…who’s hungry?
Some of these are disgusting for who they represent – but some are also incredible creative achievements, like these sculpted watermelon:

What artistry! I love the creativity that went into creating these incredible works of Halloween art!
One more, perhaps for the Doctor in your life:

Talk about seeing your patient in the flesh!
Of course, if you REALLY want to disgust your Guests…
“Pumpkin Spice Spam!”
Yes, it may sound horrific, but I have two things to tell you: first – it’s real!
Second, I have one!
And I cooked with it! I made a “Pumpkin Spice Spam And Cheese Bread” – and I you click here you can see how it turned out!
Not only that, but you can dress like food for Halloween as well!
“Show me?” Sure!
Yes, I have a bunch of great “food-themed” Halloween costumes for kids of all ages! Click here to see a “Taco Baby” and “Egg Dog!”

Love the creativity here! One year we all dressed up as school supplies. I was a box of tissue. Kids were pulling tissues from my box all day long.

A few people were turned off by the imagery, but that’s kinda what they were made for – it IS Halloween after all! Thanks for commenting!

I still haven’t found that pumpkin spice spam in the shops here, even during halloween week. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

I’m sure they were! You do “eat with your eyes” and these would be brought to try – but funny to see! Thanks for commenting!

Oooo…the finger cookies. Yikes! Happy Halloween, John. Do you get trick-or-treaters?

I completely understand the reaction to those, but they are so imaginative! Sadly, we live high up in the Beverly “hills” and don’t get any – the tradition here is that kids all go into the Beverly Hills “flats” between Sunset Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd. Hundreds of houses that are excited to host them all!

You have a mixed blessing. It’s sad to get no trick-or-treaters, yet a nightmare to be inundated. We don’t have a sidewalk along our road, so we don’t get trick-or-treaters. But wait!! Our backyard neighbors came by with their young child, dressed as a pink “Baby Shark” (that’s a popular children’s song). We were her very first trick-or-treat customers, ever. Made my day! Happy Halloween to you and Alex. 🎃

People say “you eat with your eyes” and in that spirit, know that I’ve gotten many comments about how disgusting they are – even though they are just cookies!

Haha, I can definitely see that! They look fine in the second photo but that first photo is ..”Yikes” – said in my best Scooby Doo! 😉
