The Body As A Painted Work Of Art!
What a great expression of creativity and color! The Daegu International Bodypainting Festival was held last month in Daegu, South Korea. The theme this year was all about “love” with a focus on “fantasy.”

This is incredible stuff, but how do they do it?
Here is a video that captures the artistry at work:
And here is the winner of the “fantasy” makeup category – wow!

These vents take place all around the world, and I have shared one with you before:

The 21st anniversary of the “World Bodypainting Festival” just wrapped – and it was another colorful year!
The World Bodypainting Festival is held annually in Austria. It is attended by artists from 50 nations and attracts over 30,000 spectators.
Here is more on that event:

Clever stuff indeed. But I prefer my bodies ‘au naturel’. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

Along time ago I met a guy who hosted body painting parties. He was older and I was leery but bought some painting sticks from him for Halloween. I wonder if he is still painting people? Your pictures are amazing!

Body painting parties sound interesting, although perhaps a bit dodgy based on participants…yes, these pics are great, got them from the event site!

Fantastic colours, great post. The dog one is my favourite … though the nose is precariously placed. If you had a bit of a tummy it would be amusingly large.🤣
