LOS ANGELES, CA – JUNE 01: Ringo Starr (L) and Sir Paul McCartney introduce the new video game “The Beatles: Rock Band” for the Microsoft XBox 360 at the E3 2009 gaming expo on June 1, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. Ringo’s Candid Impression Of Paul’s Famous Christmas Song!

Shocking news for Beatles fans – Ringo blasts Paul’s miserable holiday song – OK, a Ringo IMPERSONATOR does the blasting – someone shared a funny parody starring British Comedian Peter Serafinowicz – who made this video for his UK TV show…

Ringo Remembers Christmas!

That’s the title of the parody video, which has Ringo remembering Paul’s disastrous first effort at a holiday song…take a look:

Bravo to Serafinowicz for capturing both Paula nd Ringo is such a funny and affectionate way – using “Wonderful Christmastime” as a way into his Beatles impressions:

You can find clips of his shows online, and episodes pop up on US TV as well – of course, he can have fun with Paul’s holiday effort, but it’s Macca who is laughing all the way to the bank:

Yes, “Wonderful Christmastime” is one of Paul’s most lucrative recording efforts – here are the details:

I love McCartney parodies, and that leads to one of my favorites:

That’s right, in the film “Role Models”, people keep singing a Wings song to Paul Rudd – it’s a funny gag that pays off at the end of the film as well…check it out here:

  1. He was quite well-known here, for comedy parodies and impersonations. But he has been off the screens for a long time now. I can’t recall the last time I saw him on TV.
    Best wishes, Pete.
