Sasha Grey Goes 88 Stories High in Australia’s Eureka Tower! Video Proof!

Welcome To Melbourne, Sasha!

I traveled to Australia with Sasha Grey to film some lifestyle segments, and our first stop was the gorgeous city of Melbourne!

Melbourne is a beautiful city, located on the southern coast of Australia, very far south – in fact, if you look on an atlas, you will see that Melbourne is very close to the South Pole.

Eureka!

More than just being a gorgeous city, Melbourne also has the tallest building in the southern hemisphere – the Eureka Tower!

Of course, we HAD to go up to the top – and we found ourselves on the 88th floor…and we were filming the entire thing, of course…

Once we were on the 88th floor, we walked around the entire perimeter in order to see all of Melbourne stretched out below…

Sasha Enters “The Cube!”

After absorbing the view, we were given the opportunity to take Sasha into “the Cube”, a small compartment on the 88th floor – with frosted glass so you couldn’t see out at all…naturally, Sasha rushed in!

We all had to put hospital-style slippers over our shoes so we wouldn’t scrape the floor…and we got a short introduction for what was to happen next…Sasha was excited to see what that would be, and moments later, we found out!

88 Stories High! The Real Tower Of Terror!

As I said, Melbourne’s Eureka Tower is the tallest building in the southern hemisphere….after going up to the 88th floor, we all got into a cube – and this happened:

So as you saw, the cube extends away from the building and then the frosted glass goes completely clear – and you are suspended over air – with great views everywhere including straight down!

Sasha Signing

We filmed in Melbourne for two days – and while we were there, Sasha appeared for a signing at a local store, where hundreds of fans lined up to meet her…

I was very impressed with Sasha – how terrific she was with all of her fans – signing pictures and posing for pictures with each one of them…and talking to them in a casual, fun way…it was a great event…

I am always impressed with talent who can exude a positive, friendly attitude with fans, talking to each one just enough to make them feel special, especially when there are hundreds waiting…

Sasha was a total professional, terrific to work with, and it made the entire shooting experience in Melbourne relaxed and fun…we only had two days in Melbourne but we got to see a lot of it in that time…and the Melbournians were gracious and friendly as well.

After the signing, we posed together – I take a lot of pictures, but it is always the best way to remember our team’s fun Melbourne adventure! And speaking of adventure…

Melbourne’s Crown Casino Finale!

Melbourne Australia

After the signing event, we went to Melbourne’s famous Crown Casino for dinner, and then it was time to head back to our Hotel…

So we traipsed through the casino, took a few turns and went past the same restaurant we had just exited…

So it was back through the casino again – all we wanted to do was find the exit – and we finally found ourselves outside on a terrace overlooking the taxi stand…

Unfortunately, the taxi stand was on the other side of a set of huge cement “planters” – ten feet high and blocking our way. So all of us, including Sasha, climbed over the planters and dropped down to the ground – about ten feet below…and we all just laughed and laughed – then we headed over to the taxi stand, where a huge mass of people waited…and taxis stood idle.

Melbourne Australia

Not knowing the procedure, I just walked up to an empty taxi and we all got in, and we all left a huge group of people standing by the taxi stand…not quite sure what just happened, we all just laughed and called it a night, and the next morning we were off to Sydney…after two days of adventures in one of the most beautiful cities in the world…Melbourne!
