Ready For “Sumo Tube Surfing?” Time For Some Wild Summer Fun!

Talk About A Wet And Wild Water Ride!

OK, I love the internet – and this is one more reason why! I found a guy dressed like a Sumo Wrestler – so he could go body surfing!

Yes, the “Sumo Tube” is the new surfboard, and it’s amazing!

Of course, when you show up you look a bit goofy:

Um….

As you can see, the key is to don it and then get in the water AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

But, even though you may look a bit goofy, it all pays off when your wave comes in!

I love this stuff, and found a couple of great videos to promote the “Sumo Tube” – here a one that shows the surfers in action:

I would love to try this, although with a much smaller wave, and this reminded me of a very special water park I highlighted recently:

Welcome To the Slip’n’Fly!

Yes, a water park that literally lets you fly, fly away! See the lip at the bottom of the slide? That’s to make sure you go up up up!

Check out more on this incredible water adventure here:

If you want to have a more relaxed adventure, how about this?

Yes, it’s a “lazy river” right in your underwater hotel! Check it out here:

  1. How exciting it looks! I wonder if some marine sport equipment renting shops in Huntington Beach will make it available because it’s one of the most popular beach to surf!

  2. I must be honest, John, the Lazy River looks much more my style than the Sumo Tubing or Slip n Fly.

  4. I think the sumo tubing looks like a great adventure. I think it would be impossible not to have a ball doing this!

  5. That all looks like great fun, John. But as a non-swimmer, it is never going to happen for me. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  6. Sign me up for Sumo Tube Surfing! What a blast, and you don’t have to balance on a surfboard. This is Slip ‘n Slide on steroids.
