Greetings From Cabo!
I have been absent for a few days, as my wife Alex and I went to the gorgeous Four Season Las Palmas resort outside of Cabo San Lucas – located on the very southern tip of Baja California, with the Sea of Cortez outside our room every morning!
This was our sunrise from our room, and you could walk the resort’s two mile long private beach every day…
Which we did every morning….before grabbing a lounge chair on the beach and enjoying the view….as Alex did every day…
Among the many incredible things you see are pelican causing the sea looking for a bite to eat, to dolphins and whales off shore…and we had an incredible sighting…here is video of a pair of whales lifting their tails out of water and then slapping them back down…enjoy!
This happened three times while we were there….really incredible to see, even from a distance…
This was our sunset as well…Cabo is truly a magical place – and when I went there a few years ago, my daughter and I had a whale encounter from our boat!
Click here for that incredible, closeup video!
This means that my “52 In 22” cooking challenge will be posted tomorrow….but it involves a birthday cake for Alex:
It was an adventure to be sure!

Thanks Robbie, lucky for us the flight is less than two hours and the Cabo airport is very small so very fast! Thank you for reading and sharing!

Wonderful!! I remember seeing pods of spinner dolphins in Hawaii, only I usually didn’t have my camera handy at the time…

I can’t let my wife see this. You took Alex to celebrate her birthday in a sunny paradise. I took my wife for a meal in the village of Brisley on a cold foggy night! 🙂
Looks like a great trip, John.
Best wishes, Pete.
