New Tears For Fears Music Drops! Here’s The Video From “The Tipping Point!”

Tears For Fears Has An Acclaimed New Album Out!

I have always been a fan of Roland Orzabel and Curt Smith AKA “Tears For Fears”, and was excited to see they have released new music are are embarking on a worldwide tour!

As The Guardian reports:

“Eighteen years after its predecessor, and five years after Roland Orzabal first announced it, the seventh Tears for Fears album (and the second with Curt Smith back on board) is finally upon us. Its gestation has been far from smooth: Orzabal’s first wife died in 2017 and he suffered a bout of ill health immediately afterwards. Meanwhile the band’s former management were discouraging them from making a record at all (as detailed in the lyrics of the sarcastic Master Plan). So The Tipping Point’s very existence is a triumph of sorts.

Here is the first video for the title track, “The Tipping Point”:

I saw the band live in 2017 in Los Angeles…we were in the second row and had a great view: they were terrific, a 90 minute set of classic songs with a flawless live sound.

Here is their classic hit “Sowing the Seeds Of Love” performed beautifully live from that night::

On this tour, the group shared a headlining double bill with Daryl Hall and John Oates:

It was quite a night of music!

Here’s Daryl and John singing their classic hit “Out Of Touch”:

Daryl Hall just announced a solo tour to promote his solo songs, and iconic Singer / Songwriter Todd Rundgren is performing with him.

  2. I haven’t heard any of this and I always was a fan, so I’m going to check it out. the one concert of theirs I was going to years ago, was cancelled on the same night they were due to play so I was so disappointed.

  3. Wow! I hadn’t thought of them in a long time. I like the new song and I’m looking forward to what Hall and Oates are going to do as well.

  4. HI John, the first video is excellent and very good quality. The two concert videos are a little shaky on the sound side, but Sowing the seeds of love is a great song.

  7. Great stuff, John. They have managed to update their style and retain that real TFF sound at the the same time. ‘Sowing The Seeds’ is a huge favourite of mine. It is like a small opera.
    Best wishes, Pete.
