Immerse Yourself In Van Gogh! This Incredible Interactive Art Exhibit Is Here! “Gogh Big Or Gogh Home!”

“Gogh Big Or Gogh Home!”

It was a day of puns, and why not?

My wife and I were about to be “immersed” in glorious living art from one of the world’s greatest Artists!

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience is a 360º digital art exhibition that invites you to step into the universe of the Dutch genius, Vincent van Gogh!

Goghing” My Way?

This incredible 360 degree event came to Hollywood California, and we got tickets so we could see the Master up close in a whole new way! This is a shot of the entrance, the blue aura teasing what lay ahead.

As the Exhibit announces:

“Have you ever dreamt of stepping into a painting? Take an awe-inspiring journey into the incomparable universe of Van Gogh, one of the greatest artistic geniuses of the 19th century. Explore his life, his work, and his secrets as never before through cutting-edge 360 degree digital projections, a one-of-a-kind VR experience, and a uniquely atmospheric light and sound show.”

Let’s explore!

“Get Up And Gogh!”

After being greeted by some huge displays that offer up some colorful “selfie” opportunities, you are led down this hall and into a massive space:

You Can’t Gogh Wrong Here!

The hallway quickly opens up to a massive indoor space – darkened to create an even more dramatic effect.

Inside the first large room, the walls are wrapped with screens – and here is what happens:

This beautifully done immersive experience doesn’t try to teach you why he was such a great Artist: instead, I felt like I was seeing his art being created, and it was gorgeous.

Time now for the next room, which was stunning:

“Gogh Gogh Gadget!”

This is truly an incredible achievement!

Yes, you are completely immersed in Van Gogh, from floor to ceiling, 360 degrees!

Because it’s a masked event with social distancing, they have helpful “sitting rings” on each floor, and that’w what Alex did:

“Goghing” My Way?

Yes, the art is on the floor as well! Van Gogh’s artistry reveals itself all around you:

There were so many great visual to watch:

This was a great experience: you let the art wash over you in a way – beautiful imagery, music and vibe…bravo to the group behind this!

This new take on art reminds me of the incredible “body painting” festivals that use the human body as a work of art!

I also shared an incredible Artist who incorporated Models in these shots of nature’s seasons:

Yes, there is a Model in this photo – click here to see where!

  2. Wow!! What an incredible experience, to really feel his art. You know I only have three posters in my classroom, and one is Starry Night. I love the puns, and the white circles seem to be just the right thing for social distancing. You Gogh, John!

  7. That does indeed look like a wonderful experience, John.
But the puns wouldn’t work over here, as we pronounce his name ‘Van Goff’, as in ‘cough’. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.
