Imagine taking the most iconic nightclub scenes from film and putting them all together into one big:

“Hell’s Club!”

Boogie Nights nightclub

Bravo to Antonio Maria da Silva!

Here is what I found at “Someecards.com”: “Antonio Maria da Silva is a film editor par excellence. Based in Paris, his movie mashups combine footage from classic films so smoothly, it can be hard to tell where the cuts are. In the past, he’s brought us treats like Terminator vs. Robocop and Bruce Lee vs. Bruce Lee, but Hell’s Club has to be his masterwork.”

Yes, da Silva took short nightclub scenes from movies as diverse as “Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith”, “Carlito’s Way”, “Boogie Nights”, “Saturday Night Fever” and “Airplane” and turned it into an amazing seamless journey into a place called “Hell’s Club!”

The mashup reminded me of how much I love some of the movies shown here, such as:

brilliant movies

“Boogie Nights!”

One of the best films ever made, and plenty of nightclub action! Read the “oral” history of the movie by clicking on my story here:

And nightclubs also have bathrooms, so when I saw the “Transpotting” scenes in the mashup, I immediately thought of this:

Yes, the film had the worst toilet in Scotland! Here is my look at all of the best bathroom scenes in film:

And finally, after seeing Ted Striker, I remembered the funniest film ever made:

  1. Ah this is a very interesting concept of a nightclub, John. I remember that scene from Trainspotting which I did not like at al.

  2. Lots of memorable films there. “And don’t call me Shirley!”

  3. That was brillaint! Seamless editing, great choice of films and clips, and it left me feeling I was watching the closing scene in just one film. Thanks, John.
    Best wishes, Pete.
