Chocolate Covered Shrimp Snacks! “What The Friday” Has The Details! Who’s Hungry?

Who’s Hungry For This Mashup?

It’s Friday. I’m hungry. So I found a bite to eat. It’s a Chocolate-covered Shrimp Snack….are you in?

That’s right, and all I can say is “What The Friday?!?!?”

As SoraNews24 reported:

“Calbee’s Kappa Ebisen Chocolate puts a sweet twist on their traditional Kappa Ebisen puffed shrimp snacks by dipping them in decadent chocolate from the luxury Japanese chocolate brand Royce.”

And don’t forget you can also get them with Strawberry Chocolate as well!

A six-pack of these snacks costs 860 yen (US$8.25), so let’s get snacking!

As always, bravo to the great Reporters at SoraNews24.com for these great stories – you can read more of it here:

Of course, if this isn’t your idea of a great shrimp dish, what about this one?

A Fried Shrimp Tower!

Yes, this incredible dish was also covered by Sora News, and you can see more of it by clicking on my story here:

And let’s not forget my own shrimp debacle:

  1. I am not a personal fan of sweet and savoury together, John, but I know the appeal from books I’ve read and recipes I’ve tried. I always remember the famous five eating sardines pressed into gingerbread cake. I thought that was a very odd combination.

  3. Chocolate and seafood are two things that should never be served together That is most definitely a ‘Taste too far’, John! 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.
