I want to share a story from “Atlas Obscura” about this incredible abandoned church that looks like a chicken!

“The idea for the Chicken Church, also known as Gereja Ayam, first came to Daniel Alamsjah in 1988, when he had a vision following his evening prayers. In the vision, he saw a snow-white dove resting atop a hill, and a disembodied voice instructed him to build a house of worship for all people.

We have reservations to go to Greece in late June – a year after our original plans…the country is reopening in two weeks but we will wait and see…we are fully vaccinated and continuing to follow all protocols!
