Celebrating Earth Day 2021! From Mountain Peaks To Ocean Waves – An Appreciation Of Our Planet!

Celebrating Earth Day 2021!

It’s the day that has been set aside to do two things: first, to say “thank you” to the world we live on…for its natural beauty and wonder.

It’s also a day to take a step forward in protecting our planet – by understanding the dangers of climate change, environmental damage and how pollution is robbing our future generations of all of this majesty…

World Earth day is observed every year on April 22 to create awareness about pollution and to celebrate the environment of the blue planet. The day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970.

Here are a few of the world’s most incredible places I’ve visited…

The Celestial Majesty Of Sedona!

I was lucky enough to spend a day in this mystical place – Sedona, Arizona. It is mystical, a spiritual vortex in the middle of Arizona that draws millions of believers each year.

You can see more incredible photos – and the story behind this magical place – by clicking on my story here:

If water is your way to celebrate, then Cayucos is for you!

These wind surfers had the right idea: glide high above central California’s Morro Rock, which sits majestically at the edge of the Pacific Ocean…you can see more of this natural beauty by clicking on myself tory here:

And if you REALLY want to see the earth showing off:

It’s impossible to capture all of the wonder of the Grand Canyon – it’s just too vast to get in one shot, but I tried:

I also shared a trip we took to “the edge of the world”: where California’s Pt. Reyes National Seashore meets the Pacific Ocean:

It is spectacular – and windy too! Click my story here to see more of this majestic, protected shoreline because that’s what this is also all about – our National and State Parks are helping protect nature from environmental damage:

The terrific website “By Hook Or By Book” has a terrific story celebrating Earth Day 2021 as well:

So many more inspiring message that she shared, and you can see them all here:

  5. Great pictures, John. Earth Day is a great idea but it should be every day, shouldn’t it?

  6. If only the sight of such natural wonders would soften the hearts of politicians and industrialists who continue to allow pollution and climate change to run riot.
    If only…
    Best wishes, Pete.
