Happy Anniversary Alex!

September 26th is my favorite day, because I get to say those words to my wife Alex…the best life partner I could have ever hoped for!

It’s always fun to look back at some of our adventures together, like attending the Cannes Film Festival, interviewing stars, seeing movies and sitting in hotel stairwells with our Host Michael Castner…we had a blast doing it, even when Michael poisoned us with Calvados!

We’ve had so many great adventures together, like the night we stayed in the “Pearl Jam Suite” at Seattle’s The Edgewater Inn, and Alex strapped on a Guitar and rocked out:

And then, there was the time we celebrated our Anniversary with a trip to Spain, ending up on the Costa Brava, where Alex rolled calls back to the US because she was in production on a TV show, with a spectacular backdrop:

For those who follow this blog regularly, I have shared lots of adventures with Alex, but who could have anticipated 2020?

That’s my wife at work – it’s her new “work apparel” as she and the incredible team at The Kelly Clarkson Show make TV while adhering to very strict safety protocols!

This year has upended the lives of people all around the world, but if we stick together, think smart, listen to the experts not the idiots and wear our masks, we will persevere.

2020 – The Year Of “Corn-Tine Cooking!”

Yes, this was the year I ordered the wrong size canned corn, so what did Alex do? She grabbed her iPhone and documented my effort to cook with it, leading to a lot of “Corn-tine” recipes – for everything from Crab Corn Cakes to Corn Cookies!

Once we get through this and to whatever our “new normal” is, we can go back to traveling, right?

We celebrated our 20th anniversary in 2018 by taking the iconic “Orient Express Train” from Venice to Paris, with a stop in Budapest! It was as magical as you can imagine:

Through it all, Alex has been my best friend, and I can’t wait for the adventures still to come!
