Live Like Elvis – Well, Presley’s Ex-Wife Priscilla!
If you want a sense of living like Elvis, why not buy his ex-wife’s estate?
Actress Priscilla Presley has put her longtime home in Beverly Hills on the market – and it can be yours for $15.995 million.
Here is “Villa Nostra” as of yesterday, when I drove by and got this shot…you can see the bronze sign on the left, and the house is located through these gates on a quiet hillside street in the 90210.
I’m sorry that Presley is leaving our neighborhood, but it does give us a chance to sneak a peek at her house!
I always share this photo of me in the reflection of her gate in a outdoor mirror used to see traffic coming down the narrow road…
The house was built in 1951 and updated since then – the house has vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and arched doorways.
There are seven bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms — with the master bedroom opening up to a private terrace.
Outside, brick steps lead from the house to a tiled swimming pool.
For those so inclined, there’s also a tennis court on the property.
Presley, 75, was married to iconic singer Elvis Presley for six years and is well known for many roles on TV and films especially her role in “The Naked Gun” – she was hilarious in it!
I pass by the house every time I walk down our hill and into Beverly Hills…and just below Priscilla’s estate, less than a quarter mile away, is this majestic estate:
Pickfair is the legendary estate built originally by movie stars Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford…it’s a gorgeous mansion that you can see more of by clicking on my story here:
If you are interested in living the Beverly Hills lifestyle, then perhaps you want to live “The Beverly Hillbillies Lifestyle!”
That’s right: this mansion was used in the classic TV series! Find out what it costs to live like a “Beverly Hillbilly” by clicking on my story here:

What a beautiful estate! I recently binge-watched “Selling Sunset” on Netflix, and this post is giving me those same fun LA luxury vibes. Love it! Thank you for sharing.

We thought that show was pretty fun – have you watched the “Long Island Mansions” show on Netflix? Pretty good as well!

It’s about a half mile down the hill from us…considering what some of the other houses have, I’m surprised it downs really have a view!

My granddaughter the other day daydreamed about owning a 10 million dollar home. I asked her, wouldn’t a million dollar home be enough?

Her house looks surprisingly dated inside. Somehow I magined it would have a clean-looking modern interior. Now where did I put that spare $15 million? 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

HA! A lot of these estates are in their “original” style…but don’t worry Pete, just up the road is a sleek, ultra modern glass and metal monstrosity that has been under construction for more than 5 years….I know because they block the road to my house all the time! As for the $$$, check under the mattress!

Those are beautiful houses, but I like my homes to be small and cozy, like a cottage style. I think I’d be terrified of living in houses that are so huge, even if my family was with me! These types of homes definitely wold require a staff of cleaners though.

That’s a great point…these places probably have a large daily staff to handle…and that adds up to a lot of $$$$! Thanks for commenting!~
