Secret Desserts Disguised As Sushi! “What The Friday?!?!” The Recipe For Sweet Hidden Treats Are Here!

Who Wants Sushi? How About Dessert? How About BOTH!?!?!?

Doesn’t this look like a great tray of delicious sushi? Raw fish draped over warm rice…nothing better in the world…

Except It’s CAKE!

Yes, this edition of “What The Friday!?!?!?!?” is a tasty look at an inventive Baker, who has disguised his sweet treats inside a Sushi wrapping!

As Soranews24.com reports:

“We got this five-piece nigiri sushi set while we were out and about the other day and couldn’t wait to take it home and dig in. Granted, at 1,080 yen (US$12.20) it’s a little on the pricey side, but hey, it’s important to treat yourself every now and again, right?”

The Reporter then asks a very important question:

“Wait,” you ask, “wasn’t this article supposed to be about desserts?” Yep, which is why we didn’t stop by the fish market or a sushi restaurant’s takeout window for this, but a branch of the Sweets Paradise Cake Shop.

So while the tray might appear to contain pieces of salmon, ebi (shrimp), maguro (tuna), ika (squid), and ikura (salmon roe) sushi, those are actually five compact cakes! Let’s cut one open:

And there you go: delicious cake! I’d try this for sure, and bravo once again to SoraNews24.com for the story – see more pics from them by clicking on their story here:

Well, guess what? They are cakes too! You can see more of this wild Chinese food that is actually a sweet treat by clicking on my story here:

A US Chef had the same idea, so she made a cake that looked like this!

Yes, it’s not a raw Turkey, it’s a scrumptious dessert as well! See much more about it by clicking on my story here:

  1. Wild and crazy, John. The mental image of sushi would keep me away from the deserts. I need some bravery!
