Who Wants A “Raw Turkey” For Thanksgiving?
Well, that’s a question that answers itself: no one does! Well, thanks to an incredible British Baker, when it comes to this Thanksgiving, you can have actually “have your cake and eat it too!”
British Baker Sarah Hardy makes some of the most unique cakes and you’ve ever seen.
As the terrific website “Boredpanda.com” reports, Sarah has a special surprise this Thanksgiving – a “Raw Turkey Cake!
As she told them:
“I love what I do. I get to be curious and create intriguing things out of delicious chocolate and this makes me happy. I get to make things that look like things that aren’t tasty… and then they are tasty. It’s a definite thing,” Sarah writes on her official page The Edible Museum.
And that means, she created a cake designed to look like an uncooked Turkey!
Yes, it appears to be a “Turkey in the raw”, but slice it open and voila!
Talk about a show stopping Thanksgiving! I’d love to try this, and thanks to Chef Hardy, I can!

I shared a story like this last year: a bakery in China made desserts that looked like bowls of ramen:

I am not sure about that cake…

I think it would be easier to eat if served on a plate first…don’t watch the slicing!

OMG. I love my sweets but might have to work a bit at getting past the first visual.

Yes, a difficult thing to get past to be sure…easier if it’s already cut and served!

That’s an amazingly realistic cake, but there’s something slightly disturbing about the picture where she’s removing the slice from it! I want to eat it, but it also makes me really uncomfortable…

Yes, we do “Eat with our eyes”…I think the ramen noodle dessert would be more appealing to me – thanks for commenting!

I saw that cake featured on TV here. It looks unappetising, until you cut it. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

Yes, we do “eat with our eyes!” The ramen noodle bowl that’s a secret dessert would be easier, I think!
