“What The Friday?!?!?!”
This “toilet paper crisis” finally got to me, and I’ll explain why.
First of all however, I hope everyone reading this is safe, and managing as well as possible in the midst of this horrible pandemic.
People are sharing stories of how they are coping in this strange new world, so I wanted to share something from mine as well. It all began when I went shopping the other day and came across this sign of the “new normal”:
My store allows 25 people at a time inside, and there are markers on the floor to make sure I stand patiently 6 feet from another shopping checking out…I have no problem with that at all.
And of course, I also saw another “sign of the times”:
Yes, it’s something we aren’t used to seeing – empty shelves, but luckily, most stores have plenty of supplies, as long as we stay patient and give them time to restock – although for many, just not the one everybody seems to want at once:
Well, my store had some, so I bought a package and when I got home, I was struck by inspiration – or perhaps lunacy – “What The Friday!?!?!?” indeed.
As I was holding a few rolls to put away, the “Juggler” in me came out:
Yes, I asked my wife Alex to film me doing this. We’ll see how America judges me for that.
However, I’m not alone in trying to find the “entertainment” in toilet paper.
Here are some of the funny “toilet paper memes” that are out on social media right now:
True that. In fact, it does make you wonder about just how much toilet paper the average person uses in a day, week, month.
Of course, do what this inventive person did and grow your own!
Hope this edition of “What The Friday?!?!” gave you a minute of levity in these wild and uncertain times. We will get through this, and we will adjust to a “new normal” as needed.
I you need a few more smiles, a blogging friend of mind also shared some funny coronavirus memes as well:

Nice post John, please take care. I’m sure the people in charge are doing they can But my God Trump really concerns me. I mean that in a totally bipartisan way.

Agree – we can all do our part, but there has to be a plan in place that is well thought out and based on science, not hunches!

Thank you for the laughs, John… we had a Malaysian pit viper who wants to share our isolation..we, however, called the snake man..not our choice of bedfellow but a distraction of sorts although as unwelcome as Covid-19…Be well 🙂 x

Oh no! Nothing called a “pit Viper” can be good news in any way!

I agree we kept well away and called the snake man..normally we only get rat snakes or tree snakes which are harmless this one wasn’t….

WOW…um, a “rat snake” doesn’t sound much better!

We get quite a few snakes here I won’t say they are a regular occurrence but quite normal… That is ok.. we just take care to identify which they are before we call for help which comes really quickly…
