Bite Into These Tasty Provencal Murder Mysteries!
Author M.L. Longworth is the Author of a best-selling mystery series set in Southern France, the Provençal Mysteries!
Death At The Chateau Bremont!
There are many in this series, which begins with the story at the Chateau Bremont.
Here’s how the book is described on Amazon:
The first installment in the beloved, sumptuous mystery series set in Provence, featuring chief magistrate Antoine Verlaque and his old flame Marine Bonnet, who must team up to solve a pair of murders!

While still in France, how about a terrific real-life story of movies – and renovation?
Fiona Lewis was one of England’s hottest Model / Actresses during London’s “swinging” Sixties social scene – and at one time shared a flat in a ‘squalid’ part of Belgravia (“back when Belgravia had squalid parts”) with fellow party girl, actress Jacqueline Bisset.
Lewis wrote a fantastic memoir that takes us through her wildly entertaining film career, all the way to the south of France, where she bought a house and wrote a fascinating memoir “Mistakes Were Made (Some In French)”!

Another terrific Author has a historical novel with a Hollywood connection as well!
“Inside The Gold Plated Pistol.”
Author Cindy Bruchman’s new novel is a historical thriller that takes place during the filming of a Hollywood western.
Here is Amazon’s description:
“It’s 1928. A dreamer, an addict, and a smuggler converge in the Arizona wilderness when a Hollywood film crew shoots a Zane Grey western.
One wants to escape her mother and become a movie star.
Two covet what’s hiding in the gold-plated pistol.
Three fight for their lives when disaster strikes in a red rock canyon.
Motivated by desperation and fueled by drive, their lives transform when they discover what’s inside the gold-plated pistol.”
Bruchman weaves a terrific story with lots of historical touches as well…

The Provençal Mysteries sound great, John. I will look them up. Thanks again for including While the Bombs Fell, you are a superstar. I am reading less at the moment as my boys are needing lots of reassurance and come to chat to me frequently. Never mind, family is more important especially now.

I never knew Fiona Lewis once bunked with Jacqueline Bisset, and in a grim part of Belgravia no less. You learn something new every day. Some interesting book choices. Reading is definitely a good choice right now!
