Embrace “The Goldblum Variations!” This “Wednesday Bookmobile” Has The Perfect Holiday Stocking Stuffer – Jeff Goldblum!

Jeff Goldblum LOVES “The Goldblum Variations!”

As you can see from this image, the Actor loves the book that captures the essence of this pop culture Icon – so much so that he participated in a reading of it!

This “Wednesday Bookmobile” drives into what “Popmatters” calls the “metatexuauly dazzling yet absurdly soothing” world of “The Goldblum Variations!”

Here is the perfect holiday stocking stuffer: Award-winning Author Helen McClory’s terrific book “THE GOLDBLUM VARIATIONS: ADVENTURES OF JEFF GOLDBLUM ACROSS THE KNOWN (AND UNKNOWN) UNIVERSE!”

The book is described as a collection of “stories, musings, puzzles, and games based on the King of Internet.”

The book is a fast and funny celebration of “all things Goldblum” – if you haven’t been paying attention, Actor Jeff Goldblum has become the quirkiest, most lovable celebrity in the world…so much so that this mega-inflatable showed up in London:

Goldblum’s movie and TV career includes such films as “Jurassic Park”, “The Big Chill” and “The Fly”, and his unique take on the world has shown up on commercials as well…

McClory’s wildly entertaining book on Goldblum offers up her creative take on his persona – and as the book self admits, alternate versions of himself as well! The Actor “travels through the known (and unknown) universe from cresting the steep bluffs on an epic treasure hunt to flying a folded plane as a two-dimensional, lined-drawn pilot.”

That’s right: the book includes such chapters as “Choose Your Jeff Goldberg Jeffventure”, which offers up ways you may interact with him: like when he gives you a gift.

“Thank Jeff Goldberg for the gift? Y/N.

If yes, he rewards you with a lovely smile.
If no, he nods his head and quietly observes you as you turn the box around in your hands.”

This Penguin Books release is now available, and it a funny, insightful and infectious read…a perfect stocking stuffer for the holiday.

Here’s how Author Margaret Atwood describes Helen McClory’s writing:

“Shiny dark licorice mind candy”!

And isn’t that exactly what you want to share this holiday season?

Bravo to Helen McClory, who lives in Edinburgh and continues to write about all sorts of terrific stuff!

I took part in a Jeff Goldblum Blogathon this summer, highlighting some of his great performances…

  1. This sounds like a great read, John. I have enjoyed these movies and I remember them well years later which is always a sign they were awesome.

  2. I ♥ Jeff, so sounds like a good idea. The Fly is a precious classic. I fell for him (As did Geena) in “Earth Girls are Easy”.

  3. That does sound like a rather bizarre idea for a book. But that;s not a bad thing!
    Best wishes, Pete.
