Happy Halloween! What Do You Think Of My Pumpkin?
OK, we are only a third of the way through our #31daysofhalloween and I am already so so happy, thanks to the internet!
For this Halloween edition of “What The Friday”, I want to share hilarious – and disgusting – recipes to spice up your Halloween party!
A Chest-Bursting “Alien” Halloween Cake!
If you want to do “dinner and a movie”, why not watch “Alien” and feast on this chest-busting cake?
Or maybe you’d like to pass around some “finger food?”
These cookies are perhaps even too creepy for me to eat – but there are other cookies even worse!
How about these “Band-Aid Cookies”?

Some of these are disgusting just because of what we would normally use the product for – but some are also incredible creative achievements, like these sculpted watermelon:

What artistry! I love the creativity that went into creating these incredible works of Halloween art!
One more, perhaps for the Doctor in your life:

As expected, you nailed the Halloween spirit, complete with pumpkin SPAM! Thanks fir the chucklor
Thank you for commenting! It’s all in the spirit of the season!
The fingers look terrible!….great idea though
They do, but its all in the spirit of Halloween!
I wish I’d thought of the band aids myself. I’d both do it and eat some.
Fun post John!
Liking the additions to the holiday menu! My husband is a Spam fanatic, but I don’t think he got hold of any of the Pumpkin Spice edition. Oh, my! The watermelon renditions are fabulous! 😀
I got one can from Amazon and May cook with it and share the results! Thanks for the comment!
OMG these are great! Several of these I’ve never seen! I should try finding a Linda Blair head and doing the guacamole thing.. Love the graham cracker band-aids..
Thanks for commenting! The band aids are a “bridge too far” for me but I’d eat the fingers!
Aww, man, you got the spam! I haven’t seen it here in Kentucky, yet. And trust me, I’ve been on the lookout for it! Love the pics. I might actually do the bandaids and finger cookies for the preschoolers next week. The boys will love them! I’ll make some cheerful ones for the girls. We’re having a chili cookoff next week, too… still trying to figure a way to make that spooky. Anything to win, right?
I did! Got it from Amazon so have to cook something Halloween -ish!
Almond fingernail are inspired! After seeing them, biting almonds will have a whole new meaning 🙂
Yes, creepy to be sure! I’d eat them – not so sure about the band aid cookies! Thanks for commenting!
I could almost not look at this photos…huuuu scary! And very artistic.
Agree about the band aid cookies!
I think your pumpkin is very clever John Nandi I can’t wait to hear your review of pumpkin spice spam!🎃
Still working on it but hope to have it for Halloween day!
That takes guacamole to another level …Yuck! You eat with your eyes…And spam is the stuff of my child hood nightmares…That to me is far scarier…Great post, John….
Thanks and i agree – these are much easier to share than to eat!
John, these are all awesome but that pumpkin head vomiting, that is too awful for words. I don’t think I could eat it.
You more than anyone should know that imagery is everything – remember it’s just Guacamole!
I know but I am very visual.
Love your pumpkin John. Such a good idea.
Even though I don’t celebrate the day, I have to admit that I do like those fun foods, John.
Best wishes, Pete.
I like guacamole barf and finger food. Ha! If I threw a party, I’d try to do them.
Perhaps not for the kids, but an adult party with these would be a blast! Some “beverages” would help out as well! Thanks as always for the comment!
